Ras-I Announces KINGMAN LIVE: The Heart of Love Experience

Some albums deserve more than a place in your playlist. They deserve a stage, a live band, and a crowd singing every word back to the artist. For Jamaican reggae singer Ras-I, that moment is finally approaching.

After first envisioning the show in 2023, Ras-I is preparing to bring his third studio album, Heart of Love , to the stage with KINGMAN LIVE: The Heart of Love Experience , scheduled for Saturday, December 5, 2026. The concert will celebrate the album’s music and message while bringing reggae fans together for an intimate live experience.

Presented by Ras-I Musique and Niche Entertainment Group, with Red Stripe as title partner, the event marks a new chapter in the singer’s journey as he builds on the momentum surrounding his latest project.

A Long-Awaited Concert in Jah Timing

For Ras-I, the road to KINGMAN LIVE has been longer than initially planned. The singer revealed that he had hoped to stage the concert in 2023, but circumstances prevented the idea from becoming reality.

Now, with Heart of Love attracting attention and receiving Grammy consideration, he believes the timing is finally right.

“I initially wanted to do this show in 2023, but for a few reasons, it just never materialized or felt like the right timing. But here we are in 2026!” Ras-I shared.

“Capitalizing on the success of the Heart of Love album, everything is aligning well and in Jah timing as well.”

That sense of patience and purpose sits at the heart of the announcement. Rather than simply presenting another concert, Ras-I is creating a live platform for an album he believes deserves to be experienced collectively.

Bringing Heart of Love to Life

The upcoming concert takes its name from Heart of Love , Ras-I’s third studio album, which has been submitted for Grammy consideration.

For the singer, the recognition itself is meaningful, regardless of the eventual outcome.

“The album being considered for the Grammy Awards is great. I feel just to be in the conversation is already a win in my books,” he said.

His perspective reflects an appreciation for the opportunity to have his music considered on an international stage. Grammy consideration is not the same as a nomination or a win, but it represents an important point in the album’s journey.

KINGMAN LIVE will give audiences an opportunity to connect with the project beyond the recorded versions of its songs, with Ras-I hoping to create an atmosphere where familiar listeners and newcomers feel equally welcome.

“KINGMAN LIVE is about bringing people together to share in the music,” he explained. “Whether they know the songs by heart or are just discovering Heart of Love, I want everyone to feel part of the experience.”

He added that he wants people to leave the concert “still singing, with a lighter heart and even more love for reggae.”

It is a straightforward ambition, but one that speaks to reggae’s enduring strength: its ability to bring people together through rhythm, lyrics and shared experience.

Red Stripe Backs Jamaica’s Reggae Culture

Red Stripe joins the concert as title partner, reinforcing the connection between Jamaican music and the cultural experiences that surround it.

Amoye Phillpotts-Brown, Red Stripe’s brand manager, welcomed the partnership and highlighted the company’s interest in supporting established reggae performers and emerging talent.

“As the Beer of Jamaica, we’re always excited to be part of experiences that celebrate our music and culture, and Kingman Live is exactly that,” she said.

“We’re proud to partner with Ras-I and the Niche team to bring together some of reggae’s established names alongside exciting young talent.”

Phillpotts-Brown also emphasised reggae’s ability to connect people across different backgrounds, describing the upcoming event as an opportunity for music lovers to come together and enjoy Jamaican culture.

The organisers have yet to announce the concert’s additional performing acts. Their identities and the final lineup are expected to provide a clearer picture of how the evening will unfold.

Ras-I’s Growing Presence in Reggae

KINGMAN LIVE arrives as Ras-I continues to build his reputation within the reggae scene.

In 2024, he was named Best New Reggae Artist at the Caribbean Music Awards. His single “Somewhere Wonderful” also featured in the Jamaica Tourist Board’s 2025 Easter campaign, introducing his music to an audience beyond the usual reggae circuit.

His performance history includes major festivals such as Reggae Sumfest, Rebel Salute, City Splash and Reggae Geel. These appearances have helped expand his presence among audiences in Jamaica and internationally.

The upcoming headline concert gives him another opportunity to bring that experience into a dedicated live production centred on his own music.

It also arrives at a time when reggae artists continue to find ways to connect recorded releases with live performances, creating deeper relationships with listeners beyond streaming platforms and social media.

What Fans Can Expect

KINGMAN LIVE: The Heart of Love Experience is scheduled for December 5, 2026. The organisers have confirmed the event’s headline artist and presenting partners, while additional performing acts are still to be announced.

For fans of Ras-I, the concert offers an opportunity to hear the Heart of Love material in a live setting. For those discovering him for the first time, it could serve as an introduction to an artist whose career is gaining momentum.

The central idea is simple: bring people together through reggae and give the music room to breathe beyond the studio.

After an idea first considered in 2023, Ras-I is now preparing to bring that vision to life. If the evening delivers the communal atmosphere he describes, KINGMAN LIVE could become a meaningful milestone in his continuing musical journey.

For now, reggae fans can look forward to December 5 and await the announcement of the additional acts joining him on stage.
